I’m having an amazing run of luck with my pleasure reading lately! It seems like I had nearly a year where I could hardly finish anything, then BOOM–I’ve stumbled upon awesome book after awesome book. Here are the stories I finished and loved in February:

Honor Among Thieves by Rachel Caine and Ann Aguirre. This book was SO GOOD, guys. SO. GOOD. It involves a scrappy badass heroine, some awesome musical and science-y themes, and a sentient space whale-ship. The pacing was just so good and I could hardly put it down! I need the sequel YESTERDAY.

Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston. I adored Ashley’s prior book Geekerella, and this new book of hers–a sci-fi retelling of Anastasia–seals her quite handily into my list of favorite authors. The romances (one m/f, one m/m) are both absolutely swoonworthy, the characters are amazing, the world-building is really cool, and I got legit chills at one plot twist. I normally have a tough time getting into multiple POV stories, but this book had me 100% invested in every single character quickly, and I gulped it down in like one day flat.
